I also made the mistake of not trying on my drysuit before travelling to Rutland. When I 'suited up' beside the lake on Friday I could feel my eyes start to bulge out, as the new neck seal was far too tight. I had to do some emergency trimming in less than ideal conditions before I could use my suit. Kokatat recommend stretching the neck seal "onto some kind of form (e.g. cook pot) 4 inches larger than your neck [circumference], overnight or longer. If it is still too tight, it may be carefully trimmed". Wrist seals are not designed to be trimmed.
